If nothing else, its a beautiful day for some football.

PRich obviously isn't playing but he's on the field in pads warming up and if he did play today he would already be by far our best receiver already, he looks close to 100% if not at it.
I''ll start this off, even before game time, by stating it's frustrating that every defense in the nation flies to the ball better and hits harder than us. After watching a few games this morning, I know I'll feel like that after watching the Buffs for a series.
Buffs and Huskies trade 3 and outs. Im going to predict this as one of the games where the offense cant back up good play by the defense.
There's maybe 20k people here.... Maybe...
Another big stop for the D on 4th and 8. Take a shot EB.
On tv it looks horrible
Connor Wood interception. Really tried to force that, thats what you get with a first time starter.
Haha Washington kicker misses a chip shot. Washington giving us chances....
Unimaginative play calling on 3rd and 4th and short. Now wash has good field position - they've got to score soon.
Too bad because before that Buffs were looking better. Wood had the dumb interception but I like his touch on screen passes. At least he looks like a division 1 qb. Defense is playing well.
First time since the Utah game last year that the opponent has not scored in the first quarter.
Wowww washington fumble on the goal line. Nobody wants to take control.
Only against the buffs does the punter break a tackle haha.
EB DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS 1ST DOWN HA HA HA
That call on 1st down was a drive killer and something that absolutely SHOULD NOT happen at the D1 level. This staff thought it was 3rd and short (although the buffs got the 1st down), called a QB sneak..and to make matters worse, on 2nd they call a deep route to McCullough, leaving Jordan Webb in 3rd and long.
Absolutely brutal coaching.
I do not know how that happened. I watched the chains move literally right in front of his face..
Well, Connor Wood was a huge disaster. Webb won't be much better. Personally, I like the way Hirsch plays.
We need Dillon or Sefo to be the man in teh worst way.
On television they showed Embree signaling 3rd down with his fingers before EB frantically called the play in....unacceptable all around.
Webb sucks & panics. Runs into the sack.
EB set up Wood to fail with all the runs for no 1st down.
I really didnt like how they didnt give Connor any throws to get into a rhythm. They did such a great job with that last week with Hirsch.
The supporting cast is so lacking it's tough to watch. WRs are just unable to generate separation.
"I've got those down to seeds and stems blues again"
Unreal. What a play by Washington.
Embree's facial expressions on the sidelines are "this is awful, and I wish that I was anywhere else," as if he is a disgusted observer.
You're the effing head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes! This is your dream job! You're responsible for this debacle! Excuses are like a**holes, everyone has one! Take Charge! Show some leadership! Show some passion! WTF!
This is hopeless. Why am I wasting my time and getting pissed off watching this insult to Colorado football? CU football has become an obsessive-compulsive disorder. I can't wait for this season to end.
Do they even coach special teams?
This is a winnable game. Too bad the OC, in general, hasn't put us in a position to win. Wish we could hear JE's plan that so many people seem to love. Truth: JE didn't have enough experience to successfully evaluate his coordinators and MB hasn't had enough experience to evaluate head coaches, and BB/DS don't have enough experience to evaluate AD's. Now they are going to all try to save face by pulling some bush league restructuring out of their ass. Even the suggestion of this preposterous laughingstock proposal should get Bohn fired. This is an absurdity. This team, with this talent and excellent coaching could have won 4-5 games this year. Why shouldn't CU have excellent coaching rather than some jerry-built, chewing gum and bailing wire, Rube Goldberg contraption. This kind of bumbling ineptitude should be a humiliation to Bruce, Phil and Mike, but no, it is their personal little experiment. Larry, Moe and Curly. E-be-be-be, woo-woo-woo-woo.
