Lets get a little selection sunday discussion here.
In a perfect world, were an 11 seed in SLC, but I don't think we will be that lucky after getting our perfect world scenario last year.
I think we will see the Buffs as a 9 or a 10 somewhere east.

Lunardi has the Buffs a #9 going against NC State in Lexington. The winner of that game basically playing Louisville.
Palm has the Buffs a #9 going against Cincinnati in Dayton. The winner to face Indiana. Don't like either of those scenarios.
When do the announcements start?
6 pm EST (4 pm MST) CBS.
I think 4 pm MST.

Oregon a 12 concerns me
Man... Oregon #12 in the Midwest is VERY concerning. Some twitter folks speculating that Pac 12 only getting 3... Have to assume that Zona and UCLA are locks. Oregon winning the tournament puts it at 3. Shades of two years ago coming out.
Definitely not good! When the team that finished second in the conference in the regular season and won the conference tournament are only getting a #12 seed, that's not great. Only good thing here is CU beat them twice and Lunardi is hardly ever, ever wrong.

Playing Illinois in Austin. Could have been worse.
Playing Friday right?
How about Colorado State's luck??? They have to play Missouri first round and if they win they'd have to play no.1 overall seed Lousiville. Haha
Interesting matchups to get into the sweet 16. Not unbeatable, but will be tough battle tested teams. Illinois lost 4 of their last 6, however three of those were against Michigan, Ohio State, and Indiana, 3 top #15 teams. They knocked off Indiana once previously in the year when they were #1 along with winning at Gonzaga, by 10 pts. Common opponents, they smoked USC by 30 pts early in the season. Definitely not an easy target for us.
Miami, what can you say about them? They won the ACC regular season title and the tournament title. First time ever that an ACC champion with those two stats didn't walk away with a #1 seed. They can be had though... in addition to their great wins this year including beating Duke and sweeping UNC in 3 matchups, they got boat raced by Arizona on a neutral cour, losing 50-69, along w/ a ugly loss to Florida Golf Coast by 12 pts.
Anyone else surprised that the Buffs actually ended-up the third highest seed in the Pac-12??? Oregon, which finished second in the league and won the tourney got a 12 seed. Cal, which was arguably the hottest team at year's end got a 12 seed.
UA and UCLA got 6 seeds and the buffs got a 10 seed.
Says a lot about the Pac when last year all it had was one team in and one first four in and this year it has five teams in. Big transition in just one season.
What do you all think of the Buffs' overall bracket out East?
The beauty of it is that nobody we play is at "home". Games at Austin, and then if you win at DC don't give anybody a home crowd. Just what Booker needs.
I am fine w/ the seeding. Probably should have been worse TBH.. I would expect that CU fans will be well represented w/ UCLA in town as well. Go Buffs.
Yeah, I was really surprised what happened to Oregon. They most not have played a good non-con.
